We need to go to Solfest in Tarns, Cumbria, and it is more difficult than it sounds: there’s no airport close by, we are flying from different places (everyone from Milan except Jessica), and we need to be on site fairly early for sound check (they apparently do sound checks in the UK, unlike America). In the end we’ll fly to Liverpool: we Milanese will get there on Friday night, sleep in town and reunite with Jessica on Saturday morning. The festival seems interesting: almost everything is world music (Levellers are there, for example), but Badly Drawn Boy will be headlining, and another nice thing is that it’s been sold out for ages. We also were given a high profile Saturday night slot. I do hope we’ll do well!
